All our large animals are tagged and slaughtered in government inspected facilities. They eat pasture in Summer and hay in Winter, we do not feed any grain to our sheep (except to ewes during end of pregnancy and beginning of lactation to ensure that they are getting minerals and vitamines needed), they thrive without it and this provides a lean, fine tasting meat.

We have small numbers and mainly provide for ourselves and  family or friends but do sell some when requested.

Our animals are well treated and are cared for until the end. The vet is here whenever needed and though we do not medicate our animals, we do isolate and treat any animal that is in need of special supervision as we believe in providing the best care. That said we have never had to treat any animals that were meant for consumption and would disclose any meds used to clients.

We provide free range for the chickens, turkeys (up until they become too aggressive), ducks during the day and are locked up for safety at night. The rabbits are brought out to eat grass in Warm months and periodically hop around freely in a protected area in the Winter. We raise on pasture, hay, mother's milk (lambs and goats), whole grains (not lambs,goats) and we buy our feed (hay, grain) locally.  Our animals free range on acres of pasture. The larger animals have free access to shelter inside or outside at will, and are watered and fed twice daily.
 
It is less expensive to go by whole.
Reserve the meat of your choice. You are welcome to make arrangements with the butcher of your choice or you can discuss cuts with ours.

Reserve the meat of your choice and you may have it butchered by our HALAL butcher with your choice of cuts (lamb, chevon/cabrito)...

Lambs are normally butchered in Fall.


Most cuts are available in the freezer right now for between 8.00$/lb and 12.00$/lb

(these can be a few pounds of ground beef-provided by a neighbour cattle farmer and grass fed- or a roast, a roast or chops of goat or lamb...)
